1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the agreement between Danish Nanny Agency ("the Agency") and the client ("you") when you request or book childcare services. By submitting a booking enquiry or confirming a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Danish Nanny Agency is a professional childcare agency based in Copenhagen, Denmark. We act as an intermediary, sourcing and placing qualified childcare professionals with families on a booking-by-booking basis.
2. Services
Danish Nanny Agency provides introductory services connecting families with experienced, screened childcare professionals. Our services include hotel nanny placement, wedding childcare, event childcare, vacation nanny support, travel nanny services, night nanny arrangements, and related childcare solutions.
All services are subject to availability and are confirmed individually by our concierge team. Submitting an enquiry does not constitute a confirmed booking.
3. Booking Process
Bookings are initiated by completing a request form or contacting the Agency directly. Upon receipt of a request, the Agency will assess availability and respond within a reasonable timeframe. A booking is only confirmed once the Agency has issued a written confirmation.
The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information at the time of booking, including details of the children to be cared for, any medical conditions, allergies, and special requirements.
4. Cancellations and Changes
Cancellation terms are communicated at the time of booking confirmation. In general, cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Requests to amend a booking, including changes to date, time or location, should be communicated to the Agency as early as possible. The Agency will endeavour to accommodate changes, but cannot guarantee availability.
5. Fees and Payment
Fees are quoted on a per-booking basis and are communicated prior to confirmation. Payment terms are agreed at the time of booking. The Agency reserves the right to request a deposit or full payment in advance for certain bookings.
All fees are stated inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise specified. Late payment may result in cancellation of a confirmed booking.
6. Agency Responsibility
Danish Nanny Agency takes reasonable care to source and place qualified, experienced childcare professionals. All nannies introduced by the Agency are screened, reference-checked and assessed for suitability.
However, the Agency acts as an introducer only. The childcare professional is engaged directly by the client for the duration of the booking. The Agency does not assume employer liability during the period of care.
The Agency shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from the actions or omissions of a childcare professional during a booking, except to the extent caused by the Agency's own negligence in the introduction process.
7. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing a safe environment in which childcare takes place. The client must inform the Agency and the childcare professional of any known risks, medical conditions, allergies or special requirements affecting the children in care.
The client must treat all childcare professionals placed by the Agency with courtesy and respect. The Agency reserves the right to withdraw a professional from a booking if a client acts in an inappropriate or unsafe manner.
8. Confidentiality
The Agency treats all client and booking information with strict confidentiality. Details are not shared with third parties except as required to fulfil a booking or as required by law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details of how your data is handled.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Danish courts.
