This gives you time to show her where everything is, explain anything specific about your child's evening and make sure everyone — including your child — feels comfortable before you leave.

For babies and younger children, seemingly small details matter: whether the room should be dark, whether a bottle is normally offered before sleep, whether your child uses a dummy and how you usually respond when they become unsettled.

During the booking
